The 3-step application process

Signing up for an internship with Africa Intern is simple and straightforward. It takes just three steps to secure your internship.

1) Select the internship you would like to apply for.
2) Fill in the apply online form.
3) Once accepted by Africa Intern, pay the deposit to secure your placement.

Africa Intern will help you find the right flights, secure your visa, point you in the right direction for vaccinations and be there every step of the way to answer any questions you may have.


Architecture in Accra (Ghana)

Constructs LLC is a design and development firm specialising in 'inno-native' solutions in architecture and product and materials design. They are based in Accra, LA and Washington and are working on a wide range of products from, high end condos through mobile food carts to affordable housing. They are entering manufacturing with their pozzolana cement starting next year.


Micro-Finance & Business Development

African Business Network is a registered Enterprise Development Non-Governmental Organization that specializes in the provision of capacity building programmes for micro and small enterprise development institutions, especially those involved in assisting women and youth enterprise groups. The network has undertaken initiatives promoting & developing micro-enterprise and entrepreneurship among business owners, women and youth groups.


USAID funded project

In June 2004, USAID awarded the Ghana Sustainable Change Project (GSCP) to the Academy for Educational Development and its partners, CARE, the Manoff Group and EXP Momentum. The purpose of this $17,000,000, 5-year project is to improve the health of Ghanaians through the use of state-of-the-art communications and social marketing initiatives.


Special Educational Needs Centre

The centre was established in 2001 to introduce the use of Dramatherapy, Expressive Arts, Playtherapy and Psychodrama as a form of intervention with various populations. This is done with the intention to heal and help individuals in crises/special needs to expand their quality of life. It is intended also to develop communication skills and to draw out talents in ordinary children.
