Internships - Children

Please see below for our placements with Children:

Teachers are required to teach street children in the following subjects Art, Drama, Music, English, Mathematics, Science and French.

Classroom Assistants are required to help some students at a centre for street children who are getting left behind and are in need of more educational support.

A Special Educational Needs Centre requires teachers . The ideal candidate will have a both academic and teaching experience with special needs children.

Youth Enterprises Development Officers are required by a Enterprise Development Non-Governmental Organization to to facilitate youth networks and business associations to advocate for access to finance Micro, Small and Medium scale Enterprises.

A Classroom Assistant is required for a Special Educational Needs Centre. The ideal candidate will have either academic or teaching experience with special needs children.

A Playtime Coordinator is required to help give one-on-one attention to the Special Educational Needs children through activities such as drama, dance, art, music and games. The ideal person will be hands on, hard working and devoted to the children.

An Art Therapist is needed for a Special Educational Needs Centre. The ideal candidate will have either academic or work experience in art therapy.

A Child Survival Project Officer is required for a healthcare organisation to work in the Central Region. The aim of the project is to promote and maintain the optimal growth and development of children under five years and improve the general health of children, mothers and girls.

Teachers are required for a School for the Deaf in Cape Coast. The candidate must have a good working knowledge of Sign Language.

A classroom assistant is needed to help supervise the children at a Deaf School and check their work. Ideally the intern would have working knowledge of sign-language and an interest in teaching.
